Telugu Cultural Association of Houston (TCA), TCA Telugu Badi Chapter “Herein refer to as Telugu Badi” is solely maintained as non-profit self-managed school and run by the volunteers/parents of the Telugu Badi students. The single stated purpose of the Telugu Badi is to teach Telugu literature to the aspirant students in Reading, Writing and Speaking of the said language. An additional purpose is to promote and inculcate Telugu culture among the students. As this is a parent/volunteer managed activity, any teaching/admin staff of the Telugu Badi WILL NOT hold any responsibility either in the academic advancement guaranty or any other expectations other than the stated purposes of this school. Also Telugu Badi teachers/volunteers WILL NOT hold any responsibility of the students about their physical/mental health conditions or behaviors in the class and out of the class room. In case of an emergency, School volunteers will contact the parents and/or the emergency contact number provided while registration. Parents are expected to take necessary actions in all those situations, by providing us necessary information on how to proceed and coming and picking up their child if required, without further delay. Classes are conducted every Sunday as per the pre-published calendar unless otherwise communicated by the admin team. Parents are expected to leave their kids at the school 5 minutes before the class starts and pick them within 5 minutes after the class. Teachers/volunteers will not wait for more than 5 minutes after the class. Hence it is suggested that parents arrive before the scheduled time and wait for their kids to come out. In any case if the parents are not able to pick them in time, please make alternate arrangements. If your kids are allergic to any food/drink, please be informed to keep them away. Telugu Badi strongly discourages students to bring any food items to the class other than a water bottle. Telugu Badi will not be held responsible in case of food allergic reaction to any child. In addition to what has been stated above, all the general/legal disclaimers regarding Telugu Badi also applies to Telugu Cultural Association of Houston, a non-profit organization under section 501 (c) (3)
